Welcome to your Community Centre

We have been successfully running our Community Centre since 2015. Before this we raised the funds and appointed the various building professionals to get the building from the drawing board into reality.

As Trustees of a Charity, we volunteer our time without pay or expenses and we all feel that most importantly we are residents on the Meads Estate/Ward.

We are committed to supporting the local community to access resources and develop skills to create an active, flourishing community. This centre exists to improve the quality of our local community offering a range of excellent services including social, cultural, recreational and educational opportunities.

The purpose and aim of our Community Centre is to;

  • Provide an accessible and welcoming venue to all users

  • Organise a variety of events for our community

  • Support local residents to help raise funds for a charity of their choosing

  • Provide a low cost venue for private hire and various community user groups

  • Promote and advocate the needs of our community
